Garage Organizer


No one likes to have a messy garage. A garage organizer is a good way to get the mess out of your garage and keep everything in its own place. A great way to start the cleaning process is to remove everything that you do not use or need. Once these things are removed from what you are keeping, make 2 piles. The first pile will be everything that you are throwing away. The second pile will be everything that you are donating to your charity of choice. Charity is a great way to give back to your community and is a great tax ride off.
Garage organization will help keep your possessions from getting broken and keep them in places where you can always find them.  Before you start your garage work, make sure you set an entire day aside for the process. If you have a large amount of clutter to go through, then you may want to consider setting an entire weekend aside for cleaning. You can try to recruit other members of the family to help, or neighbors. You can start with one family’s garage each weekend until everyone has a clean and organized garage. Once the unwanted items are out of everyone’s garages, then a block garage sale is in the works!
Garage organizers range from all different types of materials and styles. You can use wire grate shelving, metal closets, plastic tubs…etc. There are many options for you to choose from and to start choosing you should organize what you have in piles. If you have holiday decorations, put them into one pile. If you have bikes, put them together.  Once all common items are together, you can make a list of all the types of garage organizers that you need to hold everything. You will want to measure the garage as well to see how much room you have to work with for installing and building the organizers.

You want to strap things to the walls or to each other to keep from falling during a disruption of some kind. Protection is for the protection of your items. You need to choose organizers that are well suited for your items and will protect them from damage. Labels are for the easy access and availability of your items. You should be able to find something by just looking at the labels.
